A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday in Kitengela, Kajiado County, where a three-year-old boy died after falling from the rooftop of a third-floor apartment at Sky Con Plaza in Kyangombe, Isinya subcounty.
Police report that the child was playing with friends when he fell over a guard wall approximately 3.2 feet high. He was rushed to Kitengela Sub-County Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The boy sustained severe head and forehead injuries consistent with a fall from height.
The body is currently held at the hospital mortuary pending a post-mortem examination. Authorities have launched investigations to determine the full circumstances surrounding the accident.
