British rapper and YouTuber Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, known as Yung Filly, was acquitted of three counts of sexual penetration without consent following an incident in Australia in 2024.

The case stemmed from allegations that the 30-year-old artist assaulted a 20-year-old fan in his hotel room after performing at a nightclub in Hillarys, Perth. On Friday, the jury cleared him of these charges along with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm and strangulation.

However, the jury was unable to reach a verdict on three additional counts of sexual penetration without consent. Barrientos was found guilty of two counts of assault. He remains on bail pending sentencing, which is scheduled for 21 August.

Prosecutors are currently reviewing whether to proceed with the unresolved charges. Yung Filly is recognized for his involvement with the YouTube group Beta Squad and appearances on British television, including Channel 4's celebrity Bake Off and BBC Three programs.
