Kenya Police Bullets will compete in Group C of the 2026 CECAFA Women's Champions League qualifiers alongside Tanzanian side Simba Queens and Burundi's Top Girls. The tournament, held in Kigali, Rwanda from August 21 to 31, features 10 champion clubs from the CECAFA region vying for a single slot in the CAF Women's Champions League finals.
This marks the third straight appearance for Kenya Police Bullets, who have consistently ranked among East Africa's top women's football clubs. They reached the knockout stages in their previous two campaigns but narrowly missed continental qualification.
Past Performances
- In 2024, Kenya Police Bullets advanced from a tough group in Addis Ababa and delivered a notable 3-2 semifinal victory over Simba Queens. However, they lost 1-0 in the final to hosts Commercial Bank of Ethiopia after a late goal, just missing out on the continental berth.
- In 2025, while hosting the qualifiers in Nairobi, the Bullets topped their group with wins over Kampala Queens and Denden Women FC. Their campaign ended in a penalty shootout defeat to Tanzania's JKT Queens in the semifinals, but they secured third place by beating Kampala Queens 1-0.
Group C Outlook
The current group, completed by Burundi’s Top Girls, is expected to be highly competitive with no room for mistakes. Kenya Police Bullets will look to build on their previous encounters, particularly their 2024 semifinal win against Simba Queens, as they pursue their maiden qualification to Africa’s premier women’s club competition.
