Thai travel vlogger Bowornthat Pengsuk, widely known as Hlun Solo, was discovered dead in a hotel room in Tbilisi, Georgia, authorities confirmed on Wednesday. The 27-year-old content creator had been missing since July 13, when his family last heard from him during a solo trip intended to document his travel experiences.
Hlun Solo built a large following with over 2.5 million Facebook fans and nearly one million YouTube subscribers who admired his budget backpacking adventures and candid storytelling. His disappearance sparked a widespread search involving his family, the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Thai communities in Georgia.
